We had a wonderful stay at Sidneys Retreat, a warm and cosy villa with a touch of history. Everything was within walking distance, and the central location made it convenient for exploring. Although a private driveway would have been a bonus, there was ample safe parking on the surrounding streets. The Smart TV with Netflix, Stan, and YouTube was a great addition, and we loved the cozy fireplace and the antique items throughout the house. The beds were super comfy, and we enjoyed playing the board games by the fireplace. We will definitely choose Sidneys Retreat for future stays.

stayed here for the Ultra Trail running event and the property was perfect. huge bedrooms and bathroom, beautiful open plan, sufficient heating, essentials provided, excellent wifi, easy walking distance to town. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming vibe were just what we needed for a perfect off-grid vacation. We were blown away by the fully stocked kitchen, complete with bread, milk, butter, eggs, and bacon - talk about a jaw-dropping surprise! The location was fantastic. The beds were super comfy, and we had a blast playing board games by the fireplace. We couldn't have asked for a better central location and the character-filled, cozy home to relax in. We're already planning our next trip back!

The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. The cottage had a beautiful balcony and comfortable beds, making it an ideal place for families. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily. The added bonus of heated blankets on the beds was a delightful surprise, especially during the cold weather. Sidneys Retreat will be our first choice for future family vacations.

For families with young children, my wife says that having a laundry facility would have been beneficial. It would have made it easier to keep up with the inevitable messes kids create while on holiday.
